How long does it take?
Most comics are ready to preview within 24 hours of ordering. After you approve, printing and shipping takes 4–7 business days (rush options available at checkout). Digital-only orders arrive the moment you approve.
Will it actually look like them?
Yes — that's the thing we've engineered hardest. We build a character reference from your photos and every single panel is checked against it, first by our automated art director and then by a human, before you ever see it. If a page misses, we redraw it.
What photos work best?
1–5 clear photos where the face is well-lit and unobstructed. Phone photos are perfect. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, and group shots where we'd have to guess who the hero is.
What if I don't like something?
Your preview link lets you approve or request changes, and every package includes two free revision rounds. We don't print until you're happy — that's the love-it guarantee.
Is this okay to do for someone else?
You confirm at checkout that you have permission to use the photos. Comics starring kids require a parent or guardian to place the order, and those orders always get an extra human review.
What happens to the photos?
They're stored encrypted, used only to create your comic, never used for training or marketing, and automatically deleted 90 days after delivery. You can request earlier deletion any time.
Can the story include more than one person?
Yes — add the 'extra character' add-on and upload their photos too. Sidekicks, arch-nemeses, and rescue dogs are all fair game.
